Can anyone help me decipher these two attachments of a record of the above marriage. Apologies for having to split them but the restriction of 500kb is a nightmare!

It is 900kb but it would help you if you made the image a little smaller 1700kb wide is very wide for a small image. I would normally make mine about 800 or 900 pixels with a highter dpi which would then make the writing clearer. ;)

A try -

"burnet in this wer married in our kirk having their na
mes intimat ye 3d tyme, testificat given, & t** received"

The 't**' looks like 'ties' but dunno if this makes any sense.

Harry.
Ballingall, Donaldson, Fulton, Gillespie, Ramsay, Walker - in Fife.
Bury - in Salford & Liverpool.
Jack - in Glasgow, Dunfermline & Dundee.
Bermingham/Birmingham - in Cork.
Eagle - in Norfolk, Edinburgh & Glasgow.

The first line of the entry hasn't been shown here. If it tells us (as I suspect) that Alexander and Isobel came from different parishes, the testificats (testimonials/certificates) that are flying about could well be one given by this parish to the other to say the banns had been read and two from the other parish to this to say that the banns had also been read there.

Here is the link on how to make an image smaller, it was done when the maximum was 500kb.
