Elizabeth LEWIS/ADAMS - Dunster
« on: Sunday 21 August 05 16:50 BST (UK) »
Hi, Looking for Elizabeth (married name Lewis) maiden name possibly Adams.  She was born about 1795 in Winsford.  She married a John Lewis in 1821 at Dunster.  I have 6 Children for them - Elizabeth, Emma, James, Mary, Elijah and Louisa.  If possible I am trying to find her dob/christening and her parents.  I have found her on the Censuses and it looks like John died before the 1841 Census.

Many thanks

Wendy

Wendy,
This family I have found to be of interest to myself, as on the 1841 census, 3 of my great grandmother's siblings are boarding with Elizabeth.  They are the Cording children.....Mary, James and Gregory.  I have often wondered if there was any family connection between Lewis and Cording, but I have been unable to find any.  If you manage to find any info to the contrary, I would be pleased to know.
