Marriage: Schofield and Grant

Hello:
I have been going over my research into a marriage and I have my doubts about certain names:

Marriage was 1906, JAn-Feb-March: Bootle
Walter Schofield and Rose Grant.
On the 1911 census, Walter's birth was given as 1883 and place of birth as Wombbell, Yorkshire. I believe I've made an error in attempting to locate his parents. The only Walter Schofield, born approximately 1883, Wombbell, listed on the 1901 census has parents as Thomas Jones and Katherine Jones. The census also has listed siblings as Frank and Wallace.
I am unable to locate a marriage between a Thomas Jones and Katherine Schofield ( I presume this is her second marriage).
If anyone could help me locate the parents of Walter Schofield that would be very much appreciated.

Wombwell came under Barnsley RD and there is a birth for a Walter Schofield  Sept qtr 1882 mmn Semley

Unless you have his 1906 marriage cert - how do you know his fathers name?

In 1891 Walter is living in Bootle with parents George & Elizabeth.  Visitor surname Semley in same household

The 1901 census is incorrect - Thomas and Katharine Jones live at no.240 - at no.242 the household is shown as what are 3 brothers, the eldest being Frank Schofield.   Instead of stating 'Head' it states son, hence the confusion.

At no.244 is an Albert Schofield and family and Albert is a brother of the aforementioned 3 brothers.

In 1881 the Schofield family are in Wombwell and Albert seems to be their eldest child.

The 1891 census mentioned showing George and Elizabeth are parents is indeed the correct one.

Can't find George and Elizabeth in 1901 but they are still in Bootle on the last census.

Walter and 2 of his siblings were baptised at Worsbrough, Yorkshire on 13/8/1882, parents George and Elizabeth and abode is Wombwell:

Walter born 22/7/1882
Edith born 31/3/1878
Herbert born 8/4/1880
