Looking for information on Robert Aloysius Wilkinson

His death is registered 1943.
Were the children born before that?

Yes, one was born in 1938, one 1940. I thought maybe I had the wrong death record but it's the only one I can find that fits.

The death certificate might help but the place fits with 1939 reference for WP.

I think it is him... But I'll order a death certificate to be sure. Interesting. I imagine Esther didn't marry Robert, but he definitely fathered the last two children, that's always been a known fact. The story was that Esther married/got together with him after William Pett died but clearly not. Oh well.. It happens I guess!

Got some new info from mother in law regarding Robert. From what her mum can remember he was a lawyer and he and Esther never married. He died in Karachi, I don't know when but must have been before 1975 as mother in law remembers being there at the time.
Would still love to know who his parents were.. No one seems to know. He was Indian I think.. Someone posted a birth record on here earlier which could fit.. But I don't know?
I've ordered William Pett's death certificate as curious to know when and how he died! Interesting stuff!

Possibles:

Esther Lazar married a William Pett in Kermanshah, Iran in 1921-1925 (Kermanshah, vol 16 page 455)

Robert Aloysius Wilkinson born 1897, baptised in Tellicherry India in 1908, parents unknown.

There are two months - April and May with 1897 but the baptism in 1908?
Does unknown refer to both parents names?

Mother in law has been talking to her mother to try and see what she remembers.. She has dementia (mother in laws mother) so her memory is sketchy but she said Roberts parents were an Irish man and an Indian princess... No names, that's all she remembers. He was also married to a Russian lady but no name unfortunately
