Poor Lynda! I haven't listened for quite some time now as all the younger voices seemed to be changing and I couldn't keep track.

I get rather confused at times with the younger voices - both male and female - they all do sound rather alike!
The explosion was probably Blake slicing into a gas main, and Gavin (in charge) not supervising his labour properly. Will Grey Gables survive as a business? Will Oliver put it up for sale?
I suspect Philip'll get the blame, and that wedding to Kirstie will be postponed yet again.
Like many others, Lynda Snell is a favourite character, she seemed to fill the gap left by "Aunt Laura" as a major manager of Ambridge.

I couldn't forget Marjory Antrobus but had forgotton about Aunt Laura. Just found this
"In 1985, Aunt Laura fell in a ditch and listeners were treated to her forlorn cries while owls hooted overhead. She was found alive and spent a week in hospital being treated for pneumonia, but died of heart failure soon after being discharged on St Valentine's Day, while her friend Freddy Danby read to her from Moby-Dick."
