I also thought he said horses - presumably his workers :-\

Yes, he said horses. I assume because they were talking about the captive workers in public. I'm still not sure this is at all in character for Phillip.

But where are the captive 'slaves' being kept?
Do we think they might be hidden away in a quiet corner of Brian and Jenny's former home? (Was it Home Farm?). We've never heard anything from the new owners...?

I think a flat was mentioned. Could well be part of Home Farm house!

Yes, - I was thinking lots of room there to put them in a flat/barn/caravan/quiet corner...:-(

And have we ever heard anything from the new owners? Are they baddies too??

What a time, with all this about Philip and Gavin's dodgy ways, to cut us down to five episodes only!
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

There is a letter in The Times today from someone extremely concerned that nobody in Ambridge seems even aware of the Covid-19 pandemic. They are all still in the pub and have no loo paper crisis. He does say though that when they do find out the programme will be boring.
