RUNCORN BOROUGH SURVEYOR Allan Bruce Cunningham ;)

His birth was registered sometime in the 1890s in HALTON RUNCORN CHESHIRE.

He was involved in building a bridge - across the Mersey? during the 20th century

He was my uncle but was not known to me well as he died when I was a child.

I would be most grateful for any help in finding out more about his work please, if anyone can help me.

Thank you very much

IMISON,

Runcorn & District Historical Society have a good web-site and you can post for information.

http://www.runcornhistsoc.org.uk/

The  Runcorn/Widnes Road Bridge was completed in the early 1960's and may be a possibility.

Good Luck,
odessa.

Dear Odessa

Thank you very much for your help.  Yes it might well be that bridge.

I looked on the site you gave me and read the speech which mentioned the transporter bridge.

So now I have 2 bridges to consider.

Thank you again

If there is anything I can look out for you on my travels please let me know
