The baptismal record states his parents were William and Sarah SPEED.

Can someone confirm if possible that they were William SPEED a Joiner of Nantwich, Cheshire, who married Sarah WARDLE of Macclesfield, Cheshire, on 26/01/1828.

Problem resolved.......but not in South Australia where John SPEED's  gravestone reads he was born 05/04/1833
