BRUFFELL family
« on: Tuesday 24 March 20 17:39 GMT (UK) »
I appreciate this is a very unusual post but with self isolation I am attempting to locate P BRUFFELL and his wife A BRUFFELL by her 1st marriage.

Their last known address was in Weston Super Mare in 2013. This is an unusual surname,  however I believe there are several families within the Liverpool / Merseyside area that share this surname.

Is there anybody out there who knows the whereabouts of P & A or know them or better still are related? I believe they are both still alive by virtue that I haven't found any records to suggest otherwise or Probate details.

P & A married in 1970's at Trafford Registry Office in Greater Manchester.

Any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and stay safe.

Peter

It you look on 192.com you can see someone of this name listed in the phone book.

Thank you for your words of advice. I was trying the age old saying of Family History research, sometimes you have to go sideways to go forward. There was no malicious intent.

Their actual names have been altered miraculously to just initials, no problem.

With regards to 192.com the latest information they have available is out of date as their last known rented address is now on the open market for sale. I did write to that address but without a reply, which is understandable having just heard the property is for sale.

It is such an unusual name I was just hoping someone somewhere knew of them.

Self Isolating is a hindrance but better to be safe than sorry.

Regards

Peter

Thinking out of the box, you could write a letter to their next door neighbour to see if they know what has happened to them.

I did a check before the names were changed and P appears to have had siblings.  I couldn't see any children for the couple.

Have you considered trying to find the couple via P's siblings?

Added:  P had two siblings born 1945 and 1947.  You can find their names on free bmd.

Hi,
Yes P. has 3 siblings all female but have been unable to narrow down an approximate address to send a letter. No phone numbers or social media have revealed any clues.

Stay safe

Hi Peter
I'm a Bruffell and live on the Wirral. My Grandparents were Peter and Alice.
