Helen/Nellie was born in 1881, Elsie in 1882 and Elizabeth in 1888.

Richard John Walker was born on 11 August 1896. so he was seven or eight years younger than the youngest Miss Wilson.

Helen/Nellie died unmarried in Elgin on 1971. Elsie died unmarried in Elgin in 1953. Elizabeth married John White in 1921 and died in Elgin in 1967. A fourth sister, Janet/Jessie, born 1886, died unmarried in Elgin, also in 1971.

So in 1916 there were at least four 'Miss Reids'. Janet/Jessie was a teacher so perhaps Richard had been one of her pupils? LIBINDX says that she did live in Forres at some point.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

You say he was holding a picture and wanted it sent to Miss Wilson. What/who was the picture of?
