David Wallace Wilson
« on: Saturday 28 March 20 18:47 GMT (UK) »

David Wallace Wilson was born in 1848 Old Monkland Lanarkshire Scotland he was the son of Alexander Wilson and Euphemia Gordon.

I have his marriage as 12th July 1875 in Belfast to Elizabeth (Lizzie ) McClure she was the daughter of Joseph McClure.

Trying to find out what happened to David after this .

Are they on 1901 Census?

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

The 1875 marriage was in Londonderry, not Belfast. They married in the Church of Ireland cathedral there. David was a seedsman. I searched the GRONI birth records for 1875 – 1884 but did not find any children to the couple, born in Northern Ireland. Could they have moved back to Scotland?

1911 census:

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Dublin/Usher_s_Quay/Lorne_Terrace/58950/

Alexander Joseph Wilson was born in Londonderry 16.3.1880, so there was at least 1 child to the marriage.
