Trying to locate missing aunt
« on: Saturday 11 April 20 15:53 BST (UK) »
Trying a different option now

When my OH's aunt married on Jun 08 1974 in Brent Registry Office
the witnesses were P Ruszczynski and L Ruszczynska

Her husband Zygmunt Pawlowski died on Jan 23 1977 in Central Middlesex Hospital, Park Royal, Brent
She was named as the informant on the death certificate and cannot be located since

She was born in Dublin Ireland on Jun 30 1923 so there is a small chance she is still alive
She married and had six children in Ireland and went to England in the early 1960s

I have been ten years searching at this stage and still hope for a break through LINK
Now hoping someone might recognise the names of the witnesses and have more information

Thank you in advance

Did your aunt have 3 Christian names starting with Ada?, have to be careful in case she is still alive

There is a possible family tree on ancestry

As she was only 54 when he died - have you already checked for a remarriage?  I noticed she married in 1974 as Pawlowski

Are her children in England or Ireland?  Any contact with them?

Have you checked online Electoral Registers which are available from 2002

This lady looks of a similar age and area:
Ms Lucja Ruszczynska  Female  died age 90 on 31st July 2006 in London W5, born 4th December 1916

Added: She was Polish and was naturalised in 1974 along with a  Tadeusz Boleslaw Ruszczynski, which does not fit with a P Ruszczynski.

That is what I thought Carole, the one who married in 1974 has first name starting with a T.

If she was b 1923 - married in Ireland and had 6 children there - did the whole family come to England in the 60's or just her?

The children must have been born in the 40's or 50's so some would have been quite young and unless she deserted them I would have thought they would have come to England with her.

Unless you know otherwise - have you looked for marriages for them on freebmd etc

Have you checked Irish records in case she returned to Ireland after her husbands death?
