Hello,
       Eleanor Fitzgerald, as you can see, was living at 1 Burlington Road, Southport, in 1911. Born in London in 1866, single, and living by 'private means'. I'd like to discover more about Eleanor but I'm unable to find any trace of her prior to 1911. It's possible that her name was Ellen or Helen. If she was baptised a catholic she may have been given the name Elena, which morphed into Eleanor. She may have preferred this and decided to stick with it. I can't find her in1939 but there is a death in 1961, which may be her. Any help would me much appreciated.

What is her relationship to you?  Are you descended from one of her siblings as that could help trace her on earlier censuses

Found it using the address search.   The 1961 death was a spinster & died 20.12.1961.  She left a will.  You will find it in 1962.  You can download it for £1.50 and may get some info

only one on freebmd in 1961 and she is 91 and the death is in Ealing - I am confused - I thought she was in Southport ? and if that record is the correct one aged 91 - she was born in 1870 ? not 1866 - is this the right one ??
