Good evening

I am hoping for some information regarding the burial of John Taylor born 1828 in West Marton. If I have the correct one his wife was Sarah and they were formerly of Earby. Information I have says John was buried at the Marton Church Burial Ground.

Any help with this burial would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

PS I have amended this from the first posting.

Kind regards
Amanda

The only one on findagrave? Not sure why your post is in Yorkshire?

Hi Pauline

Thank you. The burial ground is West Marton near Skipton. I have since discovered it was John and Sarah I am looking for not William and Emily.

Kind regards
Amanda

So you are saying that its Christ Church. Perhaps a year of death might also prove useful in tracking further?

Hi

Thanks again. Apologies, it's taken a while to track down the actual place but I now believe it is Marton in Craven. As Taylor is a common name I haven't as yet found the death date.

Kind regards

Can you narrow it down at all? For example, when did John and Susan marry? When were their children born? What's the last census you have them on?
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Good morning

Thank you for your reply.

I was really only looking for any burial or monumental inscription. John was born 1827 and died after 1881.

Thank you.
