Little Family of Torthorwald 1600-1700s

Hi,

I have recently discovered ancestors name Little from Torthorwald and wondered if anyone out there has this family in their tree. Or any info regarding this family. I don't have much to go on so far:

Robert Little, father of Mary Little.Mary born 1701-1710 married Robert Richardson some time around 1728 I think. Robert Richardson was from Townhead, Torthorwald.

I would be interested in finding more on the Little family, but have little to go on! I presume Robert Little was born 1680s or earlier. I don't think the kirk records go this far back though.
Any help will be much appreciated.

The OPR Death & Burials Index has the following info...

Mary Little, widow of Robert Richardson,late tenant Townhead. Aged 84.
Buried15th.  Died 13thDec 1785.

Robert Richardson Senr. Tenant of Townhead.Aged 77 or 81.
Died of Bladder disease. Died 17th June 1776.

I have Catherine Little born Torthorwald about 1668 and died 6 Jun 1731 who married William Kelton in 1700 in Torthorwald

Kall, do you have anything more on Catherine Little? Parents or siblings?
I have found a number of Torthorwald Littles mentioned in a document of 1684.No Catherine but some of those listed are likely related somehow.
