Have you got marriages for any of the other siblings Tuggybear to see if she pops up as a witness or anything?

Thank you both so much for the speedy replies. I didn't find the marriage to Stephen Barker so will have to buy a certificate I think to see if she is my Annie. Rose is a bit of a puzzle, Grandma didn't really mention her much though she did speak of Annie. Looking at my old notes I know there was an emigration to America but I don't know if it was a Newton or a Knight. It's all a bit confusing as my husband's mum was also a Newton and I keep getting the lines mixed u
The other sibling marriages I have are
Half Sibling Thomas m 24.121915 Blanche Cramphorn Witnesses W. Cramphorn and Rose Oswin
May married 16.8.1919 John Thomas Charles William Knight. Witnesses Archibald Newton and Annie Newton
Edith Ellen m 25.5.1925  Archibald Newton a nd Elizabeth Yardley were witnesses
Harold Samuel mJul Q 1920 Florence M Porter.
Stephen Henry m Jan Q 1929 Kate Glanville.
Robert m 26.12.1931 Florence E Grogan. Witnesses Jhn Alfred Grogan and Elsie Parkinson
Harry m Oct Q 1935 Nellie Tyler?

It is possible that Rose Oswin is my Rose .

Thanks again for all the help.

Re Rose Oswin - Rose Newton was only born 1898 so in 1915 she would only have been 17.  Possibility for the witness may be this birth entry

Births March qtr 1885
Rosetta Oswin    Leicester    7a   240

A Miss Rose Newton is shown as departing Liverpool for Montreal on 20.7.1912 - shown as a domestic but no age shown.  Your Rose would only have been 14 in 1912.  There is a possible return for the same Rose on 6.9.1912 but she is shown as 21 so think she can be ruled out
