I also have the WW2 records for her sons Walter & Geoff from Ottawa archives and am awaiting the one for Fred. They are full of info and give almost a full life history!

Elizabeth had a good long life but many with so many incidents.

She was preceded by two husbands, two sons and an infant daughter. Plenty of tragedies in the Beaver-Jones family.

Her son Fred’s father-in-law Donald (Joseph) Grant the was murdered in a robbery at his Antelope mine in Schreiber, Ontario. Her son Geoff’s wife died during a heart peration in Vancouver. Her son Walter’s wife died in a house fire in Vancouver after smoking in bed! Walter himself knocked down and killed by a car on Granville St, Vancouver and son Hugh killed when his motorbike collided with a truck in Calgary.

I have managed to get articles on all of these but the one you have just sent is I suspect the last ‘piece of the puzzle’

Hi,

Obituary for George Hanson says he died July 16 1964 - at his home 239 Lumsden Avenue.  Husband of Charlotte Westcott.  Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. 

Seems to fit with what has already been found...George remarried to a woman named Charlotte.

Charlotte's obit - says she is Charlotte Hanson, formerly Charlotte Moore.  She died at Providence Villa on August 6, 1975.  Charlotte West, in her 91st year, wife of the late George Hanson, formerly of 239 Lumsden Ave.  Mother of Kathleen (Mrs William Stewart), John, Frank, Edwin and Gordon Moore.  Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.

There isn't any mention of her first husband's given name.  Her maiden name must have been either West or Westcott.

Obit for Florence Hanson says she died at her home 239 Lumsden Avenue, on Dec 11 1949.  Wife of George Hanson.  Interment Pine Hills Cemetery.
