Two possible marriages
To Mabel Weston in Perth in 1918
To Mabel Greig in Aberdeen St Machar in 1920

Donald Weston Campbell born Kiltarlity 1927 and died Inverness 2014 aged 86.

No obvious candidates with middle name Greig.

The Scotsman 23rd March 1943
Officers body in Canal Lock
The body of Lieut. D Campbell, Cameron Highlanders, who has been missing since February 27th, has been recovered from the Caledonian Canal Lock, Banavie. It is thought he fell into the lock during the blackout. Lieut Campbell who was 53 was a well known Inverness shire shinty player. He served in the last war.

Very sad end indeed, an excellent book which covers 1940-44, in service with the 2nd Cameron's C Company, is "Charlie Company!" by their officer Peter Cochrane, pub' Chatto & Windus. Get it cheap online!

Bests,
Skoosh.
