The invention of albumin prints brought the cost down quite a bit.
6d. seems to ring a bell but the cost came down the more you had.
I have seen them at 1s. for 5.

I think what is odd for the time is that she seems to be a bit amused by the situation and not sombre as most photos of that era are.

The only photos I have are all of Eleanor's son and Eliza'a daughter in later years this is about the clearest one
Edward was born 1850 and Susan in 1852

You need to see the original or at least get the photographer info from it.

Good thinking that will establish where and when I'll write to my Aunt to see if she has it to hand.
Isn't it odd how like husbands and wives grow I can see a likeness to both Edward and Susan but what do other people think?
