The situation in 1851 is unchanged. The three Wilson children with their Wiggins aunt(ies) in Rochford.
Then it's a bit strange for Thomas. There are three Thomas Wiggins Wilson marriages.
8 September 1856, St. Marylebone
Thomas Wiggins Wilson, full age, Bachelor, Warehouse-man, father John Wilson, Hay dealer (deceased)
+
Esther Elizabeth Pett

12 March 1876, St Matthew, Oakley Square (St Pancras)
Thomas Wiggins Wilson, full, Bachelor, Porter, father John Wilson, Tea dealer (deceased)
+
Louisa Elizabeth Caswell

20 January 1889, Walcot St Swithin (Bath, Somerset)
Thomas Wiggins Wilson, 60, Widower, Carman, residence St. Marylebone, Co. Middlesex, father John Wilson, Tea Dealer (Deceased)
+
Martha Perry, age 30

All brides were spinsters.

Death
March 1908 Westminster 1a 381
Wilson, Thomas Wiggins
age 79

I'm not sure that there were two of them, but I don't know. Something funny might be going on with those marriages?  Nor am I sure whether he had any children.

Was George born in Essex?

I don’t want to be a nuisance or waste peoples time but we now have a marriage cert confirming that my grandfather George James  wilson born around 1857 married a A.E.Gage in 1887and that his father was a Thomas Wilson (horse dealer)
Maybe brother to John or different family —- we are at a dead end

How old is a e gage on the wedding cert? From the censuses, it would look like she was only 15/16 when she married?
