Which GRO office?

I'm trying to determine which registry office I should contact for Northrepps.  The official website lists several and doesn't list which communities are covered by each.

They are:

Depwade  Downham   East Dereham   Fakenham   Great Yarmouth
King's Lynn   North Walsham   Norwich  Wayland

I'm trying to locate information on a 1790s' birth.

NORTHREPPS is District of Erpingham . . . you have two registry office to choose from - see below.


Erpingham
Created 1st July 1837.
Sub-districts : Cromer; Holt; North Walsham; Sheringham.
GRO volumes : XIII (1837-51); 4b (1852-1930).

Hi Shathaway

Civil Registration (birth/death/marriage certificates) didn't start until 1837.  Prior to that there were baptisms/marriages/burials in the church registers ....................

I've located parish records for 1558 - 1902 and will be ordering from FHC over the weekend.  If anyone needs a look-up for Northrepps, let me know here and I'll try to help when the records are in.
