I have two deaths transcripts - one from Margaret Murdoch in Manly, she was born in Victoria
and Margaret Barclay was born in Ireland married in Brisbane. Not the same children as mine.

Kilbirnie is about 20 miles from Glasgow - so she might just be giving nearest large town for marriage.

Who is her father on marriage certificate?

2 Margaret Barclays and one with Barclay as second name, no Bells, in Kilbirnie 1860 to 1863
These are from scotlandspeople - register, buy credits and view any?
MARGARET BARCLAY  F  1860  596/ 44   Kilbirnie

MARGARET BARCLAY  F   1860   596/ 180   Kilbirnie

MARGARET BARCLA BOYD  F   1863   596/ 160   Kilbirnie

Have you looked for her on Scottish censuses to rule out some births/families?

Is the father's name left blank on marriage certificate - or not required in Australia?

This is from Ancestry, then to Queensland site, as a possible
Title:   Assisted Immigration 1848 to 1912
Margaret Barclay
Age:  15    Birth Year:   abt 1862
Arrival Date:   7 Mar 1877
Arrival Place:   Queensland, Australia
Ship:  Nairnshire
Page Number:   1307   QSA Item:  18477
Microfilm:   Z1959   Microfilm 2:   M1698

https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/arts/heritage/archives

Added:
Then you can read the images.
Margaret (35) Margaret (15) Johanna (8 ) and Minnie (6).  Remittance.

Probably wrong family, but worth eliminating.

Added:
Minnie and Johanna appear to be from this family:

Mother  Margaret Warnoch Pollock
Father  John Barclay
Birth   Hutchesontown,Glasgow,Lanark,Scotland

Added - lots of trees on Ancestry - different family.

Parents- Not listed.on marriage cert.
When second child born age 23, third child 27, fourth child 30, sixth child 38.
A distant relative gave me a birth date years ago which someone researched for her.
Margaret Bell born 14th Feb 1865 Kilbirnie. Mother Mary Bell, Grandmother Catherine Bell.
Mother remarried late 1860's but Margaret did not go with Mary and the new family.

If I were you I would try https://www.scottishindexes.com/courtsearch.aspx just on the off-chance that there is some record of Margaret there.

Is it normal for NSW marriage certificates to include the names of the couple's parents? If so, and Margaret's doesn't, that could also be an indicator of her being illegitimate.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
