Marriage at Hewelsfield

I would be pleased for some help with this marriage particularly with her parish and the date which is sometime in 1700. Thanks, Toby.

Apart from Ancestry, this has been transcribed on the Forest of Dean Family History Forum

17 September 1706

John BEAVAN to
Mary BALL - brides residence:  St Briavells

Memoranda:  7br 17 Matrimonium celebratum fuit inter Johannum Beaven & Mariam Ball de St Briavells.

----

There are a number of Ball marriages who came from St Briavels, marrying at Hewlesfield.

If you look at the top of the page on Ancestry, it does say - A Transcript Taken from The Register of Hewlesfield for year 1706.

Thanks for clearing that up Capetown. Sorry it didn't lead to a likely relation but at least i have learnt something new. St. Briavels looks interesting with its castle. Also reminded that my eyesight is lacking. Had to look again, very closely this time, to see it was 1706 & not 1700. T
