 Can anyone please help with any details regarding this person's date of birth ,and his parents, please. I believe he died in 1703 and was buried in Staindrop 20/12/1703. He could have been born appx 1630, and again, if my info. is correct, he was married three time between 1655 and 1663. Is this correct, or is there another James Elgy ?  Wives would have been Ann Clark, Margaret ?, and Susannah Renwick.
