I'm trying to find out the parents of Donald Brigham, born 1919 in Neath. His mother is listed as Thompson but I'm struggling to trace the full names of both parents.

If his mother was previously married she would have married Brigham under her married name.  However, children born to the 2nd marriage would show her true maiden name

You need to buy the birth cert.  They may never have married

His death reg shows 27.5.19 as his birthdate

Both George & Florence can be found on the 1939 register living in Birmingham
