Almost certainly Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.  There  are records for 20441 George Henry Bell of the Loyals but he was from Hindley and does not appear to have been married.  Still looking.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

The only identifiable one I find is 20441 but that is the Hindley man who was born 1892.
There are Loyals medal records only for
29075 George (no middle name) Bell
28418 George (no middle name) Bell
There is a G Bell but he is Gilbert

Some 60% of service records were lost in WW2 to bombing so not unusual not to find an individual record.  Medal records don't identify the man.  Men who did not serve overseas do not appear in the medal rolls.

He was obviously in the army but the best that can be said on what I can find is that he may have been one of the two with medal records or he served in UK.

What date is the photograph?
My great-grandfather and his brother-in-law were in Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. They were contemporaries of George Bell. GGF served for only a short time during Boer War.
It was my granddad's regiment in WW1.

Patricia will no doubt confirm but if the daughter was born 1904 and that is her in the pic then 1914/15 plus a couple of years would be right.
