Looks like the family returned to the UK 21/11/1924 - Father, mother and a sister Joyce.

Unfortunately, don't think there are BMD records available for British Columbia for the time frame you require.

Online tree has birth of Joyce in 1923.  1939 Register gives birth date for daughter Joyce of September 17, 1923 but no Phyllis.  Incoming passenger record into the UK in 1924 does show Phyllis, aged 3 .

I don't know if the deaths index for 2014 is on line anywhere but is my understanding that birth info began to be included in about 1965 in England. FreeBMD is only up to about 1992 with deaths but I did find one of her siblings on there with birth info included. I also don't know whether births are actually still included as recent as 2014 nor how to access recent index entries but someone else might?

Added: it looks like the online GRO index covers 2014 so you could look there. Registration and use of the index are free.
