R.Catholic Marriage in Merthyr Tydfil 1854
« on: Thursday 21 May 20 18:34 BST (UK) »
A marriage certificate of 28 November 1854 describes the venue as the Roman Catholic Chapel in the district of Merthyr Tydfil. Is there a single church which fits exactly?
Thanks, toby

According to Genuki, at that date there was St Illtyds, Dowlais, founded 1846.

Thank you Drosybont. Glad I don't have to say the Saint's name . Difficult enough to know I have spelt it correctly. Toby.
