Frank A G Butters
« on: Monday 25 May 20 15:50 BST (UK) »
I have a marriage for a Frank A G Butters and a Irmgard M A Ratajczak Dec Qtr 1947. Wycombe Bucks. I am trying to find any children for this marriage in this country, although I believe at some point they moved to USA. I realise any children are likely to be still living, so please send any reply by personal message. Regards.

There's a tree on Ancestry that suggests that Irmgard had a previous marriage - ie her maiden name wasn't Ratajczak, and there was at least one child of that marriage who took Frank's surname

Thanks for your reply's. I guess nobody has found any issue from the marriage at all. There should be a son as mention is made in paperwork of moving to live near him and grandchildren, so quite strange I have not been able to find the family. I must repeat that these would be living people and so contact to only be made with me if they are found, by PM. Regards.

Would that be the child that Mabel mentions?

Born before their marriage?

Perhaps registered in Irmgaard’s name.

Would the child you are after have been born in the UK? The son of the first marriage, who takes the Butters name, is noted on the Ancestry tree as born in Germany in 1941. he's the one who moves to the USA. I would have thought it unlikely Irmgard moved from Germany to the UK between 1941 and 1943
