Thanks jonw65 I must say not entirely convinced on the pennock theory. It does seem Sarah's age is suspect  giving birth at 56. You have given us a lot of food for thought.

Hi
I do agree that the ages we have (if this is right Sarah in Danbury) throws up some questions!

Last couple of children were baptized there.

George, bap Danbury, 28 July 1822
Son of John + Sarah Jordan. Abode Danbury. Father a Labourer
BT here
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-YSL6-LFN?i=1820&cat=490969

Maria, 29 April 1826
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-YSL6-LFL?i=1847&cat=490969

Sadly Maria buried 7 May 1826, age 2 weeks

Burial, 12 Aug 1847, Danbury
John Jordan, age 73.

Best match in the baptisms might be
27 Nov 1774, Woodham Mortimer
John Jordan
parents John + Ann

Anyway, a possibility.

Thanks jonw65.
So we are now looking for a birth/bpt ca 1787-1789 the 1841 rounded ages.It is a pity 1851 does not provide birth place so all we know is she was born in the County.
historyman.
As I mentioned I no longer have access to Ancestry and/or FindMyPast my ex is presently unwell and I do not have this tree ,all I had was a photocopy of the marriage. You have been a great help.

You comment
Someone has suggested Sarah Peacock bap 24 June 1781, Little Baddow, parents John and Sarah.
That is a good location, and there is a marriage there, 23 Jan 1787, James Campion and Elizabeth Peacock.
Since no posting provides I assume someone you have discussed elsewhere .
This seems promising other than the pesky bpt date difference, I suppose there is no chance that the numeral 1 is a foreshortened 7?
