I couldn't find the Mont Royal cemetery records on line - I'm sure they're on one of the sites - I found my great grand father there a few years ago.
The hits on 'find a grave' just give the dates of burial and no other information.
However, there is a wealth of information about them on Ancestry.
They were both called Frederick Karl Ridge.
In 1907, Frederick senior married Inez Beatrice Calder in Longueuil, Quebec.
Her father is given as Frank Calder of Bristol, England, and his father as James Ridge of 'Ellet', Lancashire. That's what is looks like anyway. Perhaps you know where they came from. Possibly a French speaking Canadian trying to make sense of a Lancashire accent! Frederick was a 'clerk'.
They seem to have had at least 4 children.
Frederick Karl born 6.7.1908
Evelyn Marion Blanche born 16.8.1911
Rita born 29.9.1917
Derrick born 19.9.1915 (he died in WWII - 20th Sept 1943. Married.
All baptised on the same day - 26.1.1920
All given as father Frederick Karl Ridge of Montreal and his wife Inez Beatrice.
There is a Canadian Passenger list entry for Inez Beatrice and baby Frederick at just 11 months old going from Avonmouth (Bristol) back to Montreal on the ship 'Montcalm'. She says she had also been to Canada before some 5 years prior to this date. Looks as if she had been home to see her parents for a visit to show off her first born son.
No doubt other entries for her emigration and also that of Frederick senior. Looks as if they only met having got to Canada.
There are other records like Voters Lists and Censuses that mention them.
Lots of things to look at if you want a larger picture of their lives.
You can see images of all these original records on Ancestry.
Hope this helps.
