Hi Sandra,
Thanks so much for this.  All pieces of the puzzle!  I did know that some of Frederick's relatives had emigrated to Australia but had no details.  It seems that with the work that you and Goldie61 have done for me Frederick Karl is in fact my great uncle.  His granddaughter is 93 so think we will spare her the news that her grandfather was a bigamist!
I have been PMing with Goldie61 because I couldn't figure out how to reply to her as well as you on this site.  I'm new at this.
I appreciate all your hard work on this and hope to get to Montreal some day to visit these graves.
Stay well.

Just tying up some loose ends.

I checked the GRO deaths in England for Frederick Ridge around 1910 (and beyond), just in case the Frederick from Garstang wasn't your man, but couldn't find anything that would have been him.
He does seem to have had a couple of children before he went off to Canada though - which is where your family comes into it I guess.

Gosh, one brother went to Canada, and the other to Australia - about as far apart as you can get!
I wonder what prompted such drastic action. Maybe they were just adventurers.  :)
