and that's about as far as my very limited knowledge of Irish records goes.
Whether, as in England & Wales, there may be a corresponding parish marriage record that perhaps would have clearer writing I don't know and don't have a clue how you could go about getting a copy if they do exist.

An enquiry on the Dublin board may result in people who are a lot more knowledgeable perhaps pointing you in the right direction.

Long shot but there is a marriage in Dublin 1852 for a James 'Pinner' and Eliza Kelly
