Robert Pughe marriage in Dolgelley 21st November 1834

Hello,

I am fairly certain Richard Pughe of Helygog married Margaret Pughe in Dolgelley on 21st November 1834, but I can't find my source for this date, so can anyone confirm this?  I would also like to confirm that Margaret's father was William Pughe from Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire who was a shop keeper?  I have various wedding and birth records for the Pughes in Montgomeryshire, just need to confirm the link.

As the marriage was by licence there will be no parents listed, so this won't confirm William as her father.  I have a potential baptism for her on 1st January 1808 in Machynlleth with her parents shown as William (shopkeeper) and Jane Jones, but no mention of Barhedin as their home.  However there are baptisms for a William (1814), Evan (1816) and Joseph (1819) at St Tudur church, Darowen with their father shown as William (gentleman) which are very likely to be her brothers, so I'm fairly certain a William Pughe is her father, but was he a shop keeper, prior to considering himself a gentleman?

There will be no parents(father)  listed as the marriage was before 1837 when registration started
