Can't understand the "too many entries etc" 

There is only one entry for Mary K Harmes b 1917  - september qtr 1917 Basford 7b 471 mmn Willatt

Only one marriage between a male Harmes & a female Willatt - 1915 Eastbourne. Arthur E to Helen

Re 1901 & 1911 entries - they were not married at that time so you need to look for them singly.  Freebmd has Helen Willatt b 1888 Basford  & Arthur E Harmes 1889 Brighton

Arthur Ernest Harmes b 19.11.1889 died September qtr 1975. Brighton. 18  0381

Helen Harmes died March qtr 1919 aged 29. Arthur didn’t hang around - he remarried September qtr 1919 to Ida May Pickard.  1939 entry is mis-spelt as Harries on Ancestry

Ida was b 1898 Dewsbury per freebmd.  Ida May Harmes died 1991 - birthdate 6.10.1898
