Cory Family (de Courcy) & Evans Family... Can anyone help me fill in my lineage?

Hi everyone! I’m trying to trace the roots of my Cory and Evans Family.
I have William Cory (b1839 Cornwall, England) son of Henry Cory, also born in Cornwall, England. William married Amanda Loretta Smith, daughter of Mary Elizabeth Evans (born in Montgomery County, IN in 1845) the daughter of Rebecca A.H. (Porter) Evans and James J. Evans (b 1812/1813) Both were members of the Union Church and lived near Mace, Montgomery County, IN.
Can anyone tell me the James J. Evans father, grandfather, and great-grandfather? I’m certain they have roots in Wales & Scotland. I believe they are associated somehow with Hugh Evans that passed away in Highland Ohio and that had lived in Kentucky for a while. I also think they of the same family of the 4 brothers that moved to Gwynedd, PA.
For the Cory Family, I know Henry came over from England in 1847/1848 and his wife (Mary Rowe) and children came over the following year (1848/9).
Can anyone help me connect the male Cory line from Henry Cory to Robert de Corry (Corrie) whom married Susanna Carlyle/Carlisle?
Also can anyone connect Robert de Corry to Richard de Courcy Baron of Stoke Courcy (Whom fought with William the Conqueror, on the Norman Quest, Battle of Hastings)?

Looking firstly at Henry Cory, because he should appear in the 1841 census .... do you know whereabouts in England he came from? Do you know his approximate year of birth? *There are a couple of possibilities in the 1841 census, so we need a bit more information to try to determine which is your Henry. When and where did he marry Mary, and what are his children’s names and dates and places of birth?

Regarding your other questions about Corys farther back, it would be advisable to go back one generation at a time as there may not be any connection with your Cory family and the other Corys you are attempting to connect with any generations earlier.

Cornwall-OPC-database is the place to search for Cornish Ancestry.

There are 3 William Cory baptisms in the period 1838 to 1845; none of them have a father named Henry?
Likewise, there are William Cory non-conformist baptisms; again none with a father named Henry.
