Perhaps those dates are not  correct RK.

If we can trace Evelyn, we may find out about Irene  ??? It was Irene's sister Evelyn Hartman/ Evelyn Mabel Brown  born January 1900 (widow) who married George Wesley Burgess - 23 September 1920 - York Ontario.
Evelyn was the informant on the parents deaths.

Or the sister Sister Bertha Theresa Hartman/Ball - 16 Feb 1893 Birth Place Canada - Death Date 15 Feb 1980 Santa Clara, California.  Father's Surname Hartman.

George William John Kitchen 1897- married Irene Edna Hartman 1895- both died in or after 1972
Children:
George Henry Kitchen 1925-1926

Annie Violet Kitchen 1899/1901-1966 married to James Spencer 1900-1968
James Percy Kitchen 1906-1958? married Rosina Louise Willmore 1907-2004
Children:
Lois Rosina Kitchen 1937-7th Nov 2005 California (could James Percy have joined her out there, and also George and Irene)

Donald J Kitchen 1928-1972 married Gertrud E Kirch 1935-2005

Familysearch shows another death for a child of George William Jonathan Kitchen and Irene Hartman.
Ralph Victor Kitchen aged 1 died 18 Feb 1926.
