Beds, Surrey *COMPLETED*
« on: Saturday 13 June 20 20:30 BST (UK) »
Hoping for some assistance please.

I am looking at the 1911 Census [Source Citation: Class: RG14; Piece: 4749; Schedule Number: 284] at Rosa Matilda NEWINGTON who is living with her nephew who was born at Surrey, Beds

I am assuming Beds is an abbreviated form for the locale; what is the full word for Beds.... please?

ADDED - the birth was registered in Bedford registration district.
