Good evening,
The attached/linked picture is of my Great Grandfather Joseph Jackson Jester. A World War One Veteran who was medically discharged after receiving a gunshot wound injury in 1915 whilst serving with the 4 YORKS.
I was wondering if someone would be able to help me restore this image and help me reduce it's graininess before I frame it alongside his medals? Something I'm hoping to do over the next few weeks. I would prefer if it is kept black and white as opposed to colourised.
This is the highest resolution version of the image I have, and do not possess the original. Also if anyone has any ideas around dating the photograph I would be most grateful. Perhaps the spectacles will give a clue??
Many thanks in advance,
all the best,
Keiren
