Isle of Man newspaper headlines next weekend: "Outbreaks of mass drunkenness all over IOM".

You've obviously not heard this description of the island:
80,000 drunkards clinging to a rock in the middle of the Irish Sea!
Often quoted around here! ;D ;D

80,000, surely there's not enough room on the island for that many people  :)

A common misconception!
IOM is 33 miles X 13 miles - covering 225 square miles ;D
Current population is 85,000.

He might just be able to make out the underside of the pub table. Although he may not realise what it is.

Not heard of an opening date - I'll have to check.

UPDATE! Still closed "Until further notice" (as per website).

P.S. I don't do drunk! ;D ;D

Yay!  More booze for me, then!  ;D ;D  When my local pub re-opens I shall reserve a place under a table.

Dinner for 2 tonight at a local pub & steakhouse!  ;D ;D ;D
Maybe a bottle of wine (or two?).

And then we'll try a few pubs ;)
