Jens Harald is recorded as a seaman and was in the West Indies at the time. He may have been discharged or jumped ship in Liverpool.

That's interesting,  but I wonder why if he was out of the country was he included.  Age and name are exact.

I think the reason why he was included was because he was still actually living with the family even though he was working abroad.
The censuses in Scandinavia don't quite work the same way as in England.
