Another loose end.  There is a pension record for William Henry here:

https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?_phsrc=vLI582&_phstart=successSource&usePUBJs=true&indiv=1&dbid=61588&gsfn=william%20henry&gsln=brown&cp=4&msbdy=1888&_F6544AB3=lincolnshire%20regiment&_F548A2D1=8551&new=1&rank=1&uidh=6x5&redir=false&gss=angs-d&pcat=39&fh=0&h=1026705&recoff=&ml_rpos=1&queryId=02606743656e9313890b9c95fb0c32aa

but that is on the Fold3 part of Ancestry which requires an additional sub, I don't have access to it.  That record should tell you what the disability was that led to discharge.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe
