There is a possible baptism for a John Packman at St Mary Cray in 1777 this is on Ancestry but no image.St Mary Cray parish bordered parts of Eynsford Parish.

Then there is a Non Conformist burial at Eynsford in 1830 also listed on Ancestry and the image states that he was of Crockenhill. I’m fairly certain this is the register of the Baptist church in Crockenhill which has a burial ground.

www.kfhs.org.uk is the website of the Kent Family History Society. They have a map of the Kent parishes. I think you would find it very useful to see the location of the parishes in the area you are interested in.

Thanks so much for telling me about KFHS.org.uk website. The parish map is amazing. It looks like so many of my relatives come from a small area around St Mary Cray, Swanley etc.
I've found a link to Genfair where it seems I can order parish records.

It is also worth checking to see if there is an Online Parish Clerks website, which there is for Kent.

I actually just emailed the OPC clerk who is going to send me some more information during the week. We might even be related somehow as we both have the Packman and Vallins/Vollins that I'm researching in our family trees.

Free BMD has PACKMAN having more showings than Peckman, England and Wales. 1837 onwards.

Have a look on FreeREG as lots of Eynsford records on there;

The Crockenhill Heritage Trail I mentioned in post 5 has a section about the Baptist Burying Ground.
