German cause of death

I've been asked to help with this word, but it beats me. Grateful for any help, please.

Death cert dated 1945.

Almeroth, Germany (probably Hessen). Mawer, Softley, Johnson, Lancaster, Tatum, Bucknall (E.Yorks, Nfk, Lincs)

Bauchtyphus = abdominal typhus

according to WIKI:
The disease has been referred to by various names, often associated with symptoms, such as gastric fever, enteric fever, abdominal typhus, infantile remittant fever, slow fever, nervous fever, pythogenic fever, drain fever and low fever.
