Maria NEWINGTON of Wadhurst [baptised 31 May 1818 - daughter of Samuel NEWINGTON & Elizabeth BASSETT] & James FOWLE of London married 08 Sep 1853 at Wadhurst. [newspaper FindMyPast]

A transcription on FindMyPast has Maria's husband as James TOWELL and James father as John Sigly FOWLE. ??? 

From this point I am having difficulty in locating Maria and hoping for some assistance please.

They are in St Pancras in 1861

I think James Father is John Digby Fowell

Cannot find James in 1881
Maria died Dec qtr Dec qtr 1885 age 68 Edmonton 3a 203

James married Annie maria Croft Sept qtr 1886 and had (another ) son named James Digby Fowell and daughter Elizabeth M

complicated -James son with Maria (known as James Digby Fowell but middle initial could be C??) married Ada Elizabeth Croft
his father James married Annie M Croft  and in 1891 living with James and wife (Annie M Croft) are Elizabeth A Croft age 20 and Edith C Croft age 17 both described as cousins ???
