John McVicar and Margaret McKie
« on: Monday 22 June 20 23:26 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find the death and burial details of the above John McVicar and Margaret McKie who  were married in Dumfries on the 16th August 1798 but have been unable to find any further details although there was a John McVicar who die from cholera in 1844 but cannot confirm the connection. Any help would be appreciated.

I note their marriage and below maybe their only child I can see on https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

MCVICAR   MARGARET   JOHN MCVICAR NO NAME2   28/09/1806   Dumfries

According to the available list of records on SP there is a complete list of parish deaths up to 1854 for Dumfries, however if they moved elsewhere in the County this might not be the case. However no deaths for John or Margaret?

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.
