Seldon family.
« on: Wednesday 24 June 20 05:56 BST (UK) »
Hi, my Ancestry just ran out, so I did find my past for a month but can't seem to find what I want.  I am still trying to find info on the Seldon family from Okehampton, I have Thomas Seldon b 1807 his Father Richard Seldon 1782, Thomas's mother comes up as Elizabeth, but I have a Susanna Pedlar as a wife for Richard. His Father John is still causing me problems as I have 2 Wife's for him.  So if anyone can help you would make me happy. Thanks Christine.

Just for clarity are we talking about Clawton, Devon?

John, son of Richard and Elizabeth Seldon - 10 April 1803
Thomas, son of Richard and Elizabeth Seldon - 26 October 1806
Ann, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Seldon - 2 April 1809
John, son of Richard and Elizabeth Seldon - 10 May 1812
Richard, son of Richard (Labourer) and Elizabeth Seldon of Afland Cross - 5 November 1815
William, son of Richard (Labourer) and Elizabeth Seldon of Afland Cross - 1 February 1818

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I've tried both FindMyPast and Ancestry for a Richard Seldon marrying Elizabeth 1795 +/- 10 years and received no results - no county specified.
