Thank you Sinann, this is getting very interesting William’s will details.
I have just looked on BMF for that time and there he is, and it appears Agnes died in December 1966.
What makes this interesting is Luton is 10 miles from where I live.
Yes I just also found the headstones.
Thank you for your help.

Just seeing what can be worked out from the headstone.
When Mary Abbott died in 1930 son Thomas was informant
When John died 4 April 1936 son Robert was the informant, death cert says 74 yrs, head stone says 91yrs but it has to be the same man.
Did Robert only move to USA after his father died or did he come home for the funeral?
Arthur died in Dublin in 1945 his wife Catherine was the informant.

More likely to be the correct age on the headstone. John 56 in 1901 and 66 in 1911.

Marriage record of 1872 says John was 26 years in 1872 so I would say the headstone more than likely correct.

I see Robert Abbott 18 from Drumderg on Ellis Island arrived March 1904 going to brother Jas (James) 127 East 27 Street New York.
Think that's the address.

Hi, William Abbott is my grandfather, came across this post by accident after a family reunion in the UK. One of our discussions was about who were our grandfather’s siblings? Now started the search.

Hi Aabbott
Are you able to give me a little more information on your William Abbott, as I have a few Williams in my tree, what was your Williams d.o.b and maybe a little more info on him or his wife. I hopefully will be able to help.
Regards
