There's a Mile End workhouse discharge record for an Emily Strange of right age on 6th Feb 1893, it says to infirmary. Ties in with dob of Emily May

You are absolutely right that it says Emily discharged to Infirmary on 6th

However, the Mile End Infirmary A+D has Emily admitted on the 5th and Female Child Strange born on the 5th

Emily's birth of 5 Feb 1893 given on her baptism record  ( 3 Sept )so my apologies for writing the 3rd. Also that date is given in 1939 census.
Many thanks to all you amazing people for all the help you give.
I have looked at the William Arthur Strange marriage in Barnet and he was born 29 March 1886 as given in 1939 also, so perhaps William Arthur b. Q1 1888 is the William I am looking for, I know Emily had a brother Arthur. I just wish I could find William 1891, he has to be somewhere,  and after 1901 to be sure so to that end I will look further into her family.
