Mary Meaney was born Wigan according to this 1871 entry although all later entries show her b St Helens

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KD65-PFQ

freebmd 1865 marriage entry shows John as Mainey as does www.lancashirebmd.org.uk

Mary was 5 in 1871 so born within the 1865 marriage span.  The fact that her birth wasn't registered is not that unusual as failure to register a birth only became a fineable offence in 1874

Ann Connors was in St Helens 1861 with mother and sister  RG9 Piece 2752 Folio 33 Page 57

Deaths December qtr 1885
Meaney    John    47    Prescot    8b   491

You could be correct but I had discarded that wigan birth on the census because they listed all children born Wigan but this is what I know from Baptisms
Parents married at St Anne Sutton

Baps at St Anne Sutton 1868 John Meaney reg Warrington because they lived in Burtonwood, which is quite close to Sutton
Then 2 children born Wigan, Ann 1870 and Joseph 1875
Ann was baptised in St Joseph Peasley Cross, next  to Sutton No Joseph found
lastly Catherine (Kate)  baptised at St Joseph Peasley Cross 1879

Therefore I assumed Mary would be born in Sutton (Prescot Reg) or reg Warrington but nothing found so far.

Every generation of this family has a mystery to solve  ::) It would be my link line though

It just occurred to me to search Cheshire BMD and it led me to find on the GRO - 1865 DQ Connor Mary mothers name blank registered Warrington   ???

Seems to be Latchford though, would that be right for Burtonwood? The other one reg in Warrington was Sankey

Latchford came under Warrington RD

Burtonwood was Lancashire to 1934 but came under Warrington RD until 1934 then Newton RD

It gets worse  :o

After searching into the early hours I found at the end of the entries for M in the parish recs CD
13/4/66 MYNEY Mary - parents  John and Anne J - nee CONNOR of Peasley Cross

However, I couldn't find an entry in  Free BMD, Lancashire BMD nor the GRO in any of the districts I'm interested in,  and the birth date is different from the one I know is mine on census 1939.
 :-\ Ugh!

Was 13.4.1866 the baptismal date or the birth date?

Birth date, Terribly different, not even close.
The other entry for Ann Connor mother Mary matches so logic says go for that but .....

Did Mary die June qtr 1960 St Helens aged 94?

Still no answers re her birthdate if so

Born Sept 1865 - aged 94 by September 1959 so age 94 when death registered

Born April 1866 - aged 94 by 13 April 1960 so if she died between then & 30th June - she was 94
